Moisture-proof, waterproof, and cockroach-resistant "Remote control and control board design and board assembly"

At Time Giken, we handle everything from specification review and development design to mass production and after-sales support, offering proposals that include "moisture-proofing and waterproofing treatments."

In environments where moisture resistance, waterproofing, and cockroach prevention are necessary, we propose three methods: - Coating - Potting - Case welding ◇ Coating By applying a vinyl-based (varnish) or rubber-modified material (Elepcoat*) insulation and moisture-proof coating to the circuit board, we protect the circuit board from moisture and safeguard it from harsh environments. Additionally, by changing the coating to a cockroach repellent and applying it, we can prevent cockroach breeding around the circuit board and maintain a hygienic environment. *Registered trademark of Nitto Shinco Co., Ltd. ◇ Potting If you are concerned about protection through coating, we also offer potting. By filling with resin, we can achieve a higher moisture-proof effect than coating. Furthermore, using potting material that has undergone vacuum degassing eliminates the occurrence of bubbles, ensuring that the liquid completely fills even the backside of the circuit board. ◇ Resin case welding (e.g., for bathroom remote controls) If you want to prevent water from entering the case itself, we can address this by using ultrasonic or thermal airtight welding. When welding is performed, there is no need for screws or other fasteners. Additionally, since no gaskets are required, there is no risk of water ingress due to the aging of gaskets.
